Terms of Service

These are the terms for working with Moor Builds. They're written in plain English because that's how we do everything. By paying a deposit, you agree to them.

What you get

Each plan (Starter £150, Growth £250, Premium £350, SEO Refresh £90) includes exactly what's listed on our pricing page at the time you book. New builds and redesigns use the same plans at the same prices. If we ever change an inclusion, we'll confirm it with you in writing before taking your deposit.

The 3-day promise, defined properly

"Live in 3 working days" means 3 working days from the day we receive your content — your text, photos, logo and anything else we agree we need. The clock does not start when you pay, enquire, or say "go". If content arrives in dribs and drabs, the clock starts when the last essential piece lands. We'll always confirm your start date and due date by email.

Payment

• 50% deposit to book your build slot, 50% on completion — before the site goes live on your domain.
• Payments are made by secure Stripe payment link (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never ask for bank transfers to personal accounts or handle card details ourselves.
• Prices are flat and in pounds sterling. No hidden fees.

Revisions

Every plan includes the stated number of revision rounds (1, 2 or 3). A "round" is one batch of feedback we action together. Extra rounds are quoted before work starts — never surprise-billed.

Your responsibilities

• Send accurate content and have the rights to use it (especially photos and logos).
• Reply to review requests within a reasonable time — long silences pause the clock.
• Buy and keep your own domain (it's yours, in your name — we never hold it hostage).

Ownership

Once your final payment clears, the website files, design and content are yours. Your domain and hosting account are always yours. If you ever leave, everything goes with you. No lock-in, ever.

Honest limits

• We improve everything Google reads, but we never guarantee search rankings — nobody honestly can.
• Free hosting is provided on reliable third-party platforms; we don't control their uptime, though we choose them because they're excellent.
• Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancel before work starts and your deposit is refunded in full. Once work has started, the deposit covers the time already invested and is non-refundable — but if we've genuinely delivered nothing, you pay nothing more. We aim to be the kind of business we'd want to buy from.
